Phone call with Kathy Marsh 3/9/2020 She asked if the map she sent is working for us- yes, we'll be using it at the meeting We discussed limiting the area to hyper-local to Tangerine and surrounding neighborhoods. The reports out to Mount Dora Middle School and Altoona could have different explanations. As a reporter, she was frequently sent to the Altoonaish area to investigate smells and other concerns. She was out this way at Stoneybrook Hills on March 6th from 5ish until 8:30pm and didn't smell anything. We discussed the intermittent nature of the smell.

March 2, 2020, and many other days in the last two years, I have taken my dogs out for a walk. As soon as we go out the door, we are hit by the strong smell of fertilizer and human waste smell. We often have to go back inside and wait until the smell goes away. Most of the time it just sits there like a heavy cloud. I am a captive in my own home, and my dogs have to suffer. I called Alex at Anuvia yesterday regarding the horrible smell. (See the post for 3/02/2020) He asked me what their smell is like. I said like a burning, chemical smell. He perceives it as a sickly sweet smell. Apparently, different people perceive it differently. Alex tells me that they aren't releasing ammonia but they could be releasing sulfur. I personally associate it with the burning stench of Hades. Posted on the FB group: I feel like Anuiva has always had a strong stench of a burning poop smell myself 🤢 😷 I don't know. Today stunk bad at some parts, but it wasn't a sewage smell, and it wasn't a Monterey smell. It was just nasty. Like, death. It smells like fertilizer and sewage treatment. The time is 8:18 am and winds are from the Southeast at 5mph. Area: Dudley Ave and Dora Drive. Now I am not sure if I should call Anuvia or complain to the county about Shelley's. I feel my property value dropping. Gross! I live in Greater Country Estates and have my back sliding door open and I don't smell anything. I am much closer to Jones Ave. as well. Well, we notice it, so something is definitely wrong.  😂 It’s like a nasty cloud floats up into the air from the smell sources, and when the conditions are just right, they descend upon the land.
