That Smell in Tangerine, Florida and Nearby Neighborhoods

I called Alex at Anuvia yesterday regarding the horrible smell. (See the post for 3/02/2020) He asked me what their smell is like. I said like a burning, chemical smell. He perceives it as a sickly sweet smell. Apparently, different people perceive it differently. Alex tells me that they aren't releasing ammonia but they could be releasing sulfur. I personally associate it with the burning stench of Hades. Posted on the FB group: I feel like Anuiva has always had a strong stench of a burning poop smell myself 🤢 😷 I don't know. The Daily Sludge Report Zero Days Without A Smell Report It's a quarter after 2 pm here in Tangerine. It's a breezy day and I didn't detect any odors when I was out a little bit ago. Welcome! As you know, Tangerine, Zellwood, and the surrounding neighborhoods have been plagued by some horrible smells in the last few years. There are a number of stinky business that has caused us to band together. We report the smell incidents in our Facebook group and send e-mails to our state and local officials when they occur. We welcome all of our neighborhood friends being held hostage by "That Smell." Some days it's so bad that we can't go out in our yards and, on the worst days, our dogs don't want to go out to "do their business." We used to complain to each other and then we realized that it was getting worse and we had to step up our game.  Possible culprits for the smell include Anuvia and Shelley's Septic Tanks in Zellwood, Mid-Florida Materials in Plymouth aka the materials dump, and the Monterey Mushroom Farm in Zellwood.
