That Smell in Tangerine, Florida and Nearby Neighborhoods

The Daily Sludge Report March 22, 2020 Zero Days Without A Smell Report Check back for updates as reports come in- Please note that odor reports are from a  voluntary Facebook group  and each odor  report represents an unknown number of individuals who are also aware  of the smells that are permeating our neighborhoods. Not all odor events are reported due to the pervasive nature of the smell. If we reported every event, we'd get nothing else done due to the intermittent nature of the odors. Now we are concerned that our respiratory irritation could predispose us to Coronavirus. The Daily Sludge Report Two Days Without A Smell Report Check back for updates as reports come in Please Help Me Get Rid of This Smell so I Can Do Other Stuff  We rate today as 5 breaths of fresh air! I knew that we were in for a good day when I saw that the wind was coming in from the North bringing clean, fresh air along with the cold. It was the perfect day to take the dog(s) out to play. Here are a few comments made on our group page today.  I’d like to take a moment to say that today’s wind is coming furiously from the northwest it seems and, although a pain for frisbee throwing [the dog is loving it.] It smells delicious! My throat is burning and this has to stop.  I'm sharing my blog post this morning to share how my life is going since I retired from teaching. I used to zoom out of Tangerine at 4:50 am to be at work at 5:30 to be ready for students at 7:20 am. I'd return home at 3:30 pm and life was good. I missed out on most of the smells from our local businesses and wasn't aware of the true extent of the stench. Somehow I'd managed to live here for 26 years without knowing that I'd moved into an industrial park.  Yes, we had the mushroom farm.
