Response:They are not getting sanctions yet. Shelley's has a meeting on July 6th [delayed due to the virus, but it's public and we can go] and Anuvia has had theirs and is supposedly on a short leash to make improvements.
8:00 pm The poop smell is horrific! Smells like they just dumped a load in my yard! No open windows tonight! At least a 6 out of 10. Lake Ola and 441.

April 9, 2020, 10 am: This morning I was at the stoplight on 441 and Jones Ave. The stench was soooo awful... I would say 10 out 10, my car just reeked.

April 10, 2020 7:43 am: Documenting: #TheSmelll - 💩💩💩 Stench is on at +20 on a 1-10 scale this morning. Cannot take a regular breath in, forget about a deep breath in, while letting my dog out. Totally nauseating to gagging. Obviously, the culprits are NOT shut down due to COVID-19 state closures other than essential business. If restaurants/beaches/department stores are closed to help flatten the virus curve - WHY are these businesses allowed to remain open and running full tilt? Obviously, the supposed violations are nothing more than a "slap on the wrist" and have NO bearing of the 💩 production in one form or another. Location: King Street

April 11, 2020, 3:30 pm 3:30 at Trimble Park chemical metal smell. 4 on a scale of 1-10. Lake Street
4:30 Saturday afternoon. It started as 6/10 quickly to 9/10. 83 degrees/ 41 o/o humidity. Wind ESE 5mph. Was enjoying outside but forced inside. REDACTED and I took a ride. It seems to be Shelly today. No smell or activity at Anuvia but when directly behind Shellys on willow street it was unbearable.
4:47 PM Saturday, 4/11 Wind from SouthEast and a horrible smell of sewage present on Lake Ola Drive.
7:45 pm Earlwood Avenue. I can’t even sit outside tonight because it smells so bad.

6:22 pm Was outside all day today and no smell. Just got whiff of Anuvia - yuck and now I have to go inside before I’m done. [Greater Country Estates]
8:00 pm No smell earlier but starting to smell Anuvia on Lake Ola Drive.

April 12, 2020, 12:20 am: I just got home...yes, it’s late....stinks outside.... I note someone mentioned the mushroom farm earlier....am I confusing the smells?
Response: What I smelled tonight was Anuvia. There were reports of "poopy" smells but what I smelled what chemical. The first thing I do is to establish if there is a chemical smell or an organic smell. I have a particular sensitivity to sulfur, a non-metal that is the smell of hell. If it smells "chemically" I consider it to be Anuvia. If it smells organic then you get your pick of various sources. Just decide for yourself what it smells most like to you.

Response4 Mushroom and Anuvia have very different smells. Like, Anuvia is definitely more poopy while mushroom is more rot.

11:00 am Greater Country Estates: Easter Morning. Can’t go out and hide eggs because it stinks so bad.
Later: Here is our “release the kids” for the egg hunt video. Watch till the end and you will see my 2nd oldest response to the smell this Easter morning. So sad. [The video is private but shows happy children running out of the house with Easter egg baskets. One pauses to pinch his nose closed.]

4:00 pm Dudley and Earlwood- Had my family over for a nice Easter Lunch and was hoping for a relaxing day by the pool. Lunch was AWESOME...But trying to relax by the pool now is not happening...Unless you enjoy the stench in the air!!! And the smell is very strong right now...Sad we can't enjoy the outdoors with the family. Something HAS to be done about these smells!!!!

Greetings,
The last thing that I planned to be doing on Easter Sunday was to be documenting odor complaints and writing e-mails about odors. I spent an hour outside today letting my dog swim in the lake. The odor ranged from medium to very strong.
We are being held prisoners in our own home by the odor. It's a beautiful day, except for the smell, but now I feel ill from my exposure to whatever is leaving Anuvia's stack. I have a headache, a scratchy throat, and my ears are bothering me.
The complaints that you receive from the group are merely the tip of the iceberg. Many people aren't aware of our group (yet) as we've only been in existence for 8 weeks on Facebook. The virus has prevented us from having community meetings (we had one planned for March 17th and had to cancel) but the virus won't last forever.
We want answers. Why was Anuvia allowed to build a facility that even they admit isn't sufficient to contain its odors and emissions? Who took Anuvia's word that their process is odorless? I assure you that it most certainly is not. Where is the oversight on emissions they are putting out? We live three miles away and are suffering. Why weren't we notified of the plan to build this plant? Why in the name of God did Orange County help fund this? Why did Orange County throw us under the bus when this plant was approved. I could go on.
Please for our health, do something NOW.
