Please Help Me Get Rid of This Smell so I Can Do Other Stuff 

8:02 am Driving home from work just now smelled strong sulfur smell between Renningers and 46. Gone once I passed 46. Then I hit Sadler and Monterey's smell was STRONG. It remained pretty strong the rest of my drive home. It's still strong at my home on Willow. It was most definitely was NOT Anuvia or Shelleys. [See the documentation below. Blogger is acting up this morning and I can't put it in where I want to. Admin.]

It smells horrible all the way from Stoneybrook to Tangerine at the moment. My son said it smells like ðŸ’© on the way to school.



Yes, I'm getting strong smells this morning too round lake rd near 46.


It's really strong by Jones Avenue.

 I smelled a faint bad odor at 7:30 and then again at 10:30 last night. But faint.


9:32 am Interesting. I just left my house at the top of the hill and there was no smell. Stopped at the Zellwood post office and it’s pretty strong here. Now I understand how Zellwood is worst off than Tangerine. Don’t want to imagine what it smells like here when it’s really nasty at my house.


Its the mushroom farm on Sadler that you are smelling. I work at Blue Sky Plumbing on 441 and Sadler and it has been strong in the morning the past 2 days but usually gone by lunchtime.

This sludge has no smell when it leaves the treatment plant site. Zellwood Residents: Do We Need to Pursue This?

On February 5, 2021, FDEP issued a Notice of Intent to Issue a wastewater permit authorizing Shelley’s to continue to operate their Biosolids Treatment Facility (BTF). The public and other stakeholders have the opportunity to provide input by petitioning FDEP for an administrative hearing within 14 days of the Notice. Rules for petitioning can be found online. A time extension to file a petition may also be requested. Either request should be made directly through the Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of General Counsel. The mailing address is 3900 Commonwealth Blvd., Mail Station 35, Tallahassee, FL 32399-3000, or via electronic correspondence at Agency_Clerk@dep.state.fl.us followed by a mailed copy of the petition.

The Saga of Drainage into Lake Ola
