Descriptive Words for Bad Smells

As I’m getting ready to compose yet another e-mail to the powers that be, I realized that I need to say something more than “bad smell” so I’m starting a list. Let me know if I’ve missed any. I’m sure I have. 
acrid- an acrid smell or taste is very strong, bitter, and unpleasant in your nose and throat

fetid air-has a very unpleasant smell, usually caused by decay

insalubrious- not condusive to health

malodorous- producing an unpleasant smell

noisome- extremely unpleasant, especially because of being very dirty or having a bad smell

noxious- bad for the well-being of the body

overpowering- an overpowering smell or taste is very strong

pungent- a pungent taste or smell is very strong and sharp

putrescent- decaying and smelling unpleasant

putrid- decaying and smelling very bad

rancid- food contains fats or oils that are no longer fresh and have an unpleasant taste and smell

rank- a strong unpleasant smell or taste

ripe- having a strong or unpleasant smell

sickly- something such as a smell or taste that is sickly is so unpleasant that it makes you feel sick

smelly- with an unpleasant smell

sour- with an unpleasant taste or smell, especially because of no longer being fresh

stale- used for describing something that does not smell fresh or pleasant

stench- a very bad smell, especially of decay

whiff- a slight smell of something

laden- air that is laden with a particular smell, smells very strongly of that thing

noxious- physically harmful or destructive to human beings

odoriferous- with a strong smell

odorous- with a strong smell

powerful- with a strong smell

redolentof- smelling of somethingz
